Is there a plugin that controls the display of posts.

For front page ‘front page category’ seems to do the trick. But what about if I have 9 pages and would like to display different posts on each of them. Or is coding work needed to do that?

Basically, I’d like assign the posts I have to separate pages, eg

posts 1,2,3 to page A
posts 4,5,6 to page B
etc
