No one knows the solution?
Can someone help me with this? I do not have any programming skills….
I need to have a contact form where users can contact each individual author by clicking on their profile page, and this message will be sent to the respective author’s email (the author’s email is not displayed)
Thanks.
Use Contact Form 7. It allows for many contact forms on your website to place them on any page/post. A nice extension is the Contact Form 7 to Database Extension.
But how do I let the Contact Form 7 catch the author’s email automatically?
There is no “auto-catch”. Install the plugin, activate it, go to Contact > Edit, make your adjustments, in “Mail To” – fill out the desired email address. Copy the code into an author page. Create a new contact form – fill it out (or just copy the 1st one) with the next author email address, copy the code of the form, i.e. [contact-form 2 "Contact form 2"], into the page of the next author … Here are detailed instructions.
But I have more than 100 authors, is there any way to do this automatically? To catch the email from the author profile?
Anyone can help me with this?
Use the Grunion Contact Form by Automattic, which when left blank uses the post author as the email address
I’ve just set this up using Contact Form 7 and the instructions found here:

Thought this might help others who come across this post.
