I already had quite some folks testing the plugin. What I need are the statistics about the spam traps on your site. In other words: I am trying to improve the plugin by resorting the spam traps by effectivity.

The best killer should be the first one so we don’t need to run through that much code per request.

Not exactly sure how I can help with that, other than to say that I dropped Akismet altogether and am now using the Stop Spammer Registrations Plugin, together with your plugin, so far with a 100% success rate.

PM me if you need anything else.

    Thanks.

Look at the WP-BlackCheck Stats in the 1st menu at the dashboard. It should give you a graphic – and this is what I would need. (most recent version of my plugin required)

I have your plugin installed on, maybe, 10 sites so far – just 200 to go… 🙂

Anyway, I can of course not exactly be sure how many would-be spammers are stopped by the “Stop Spammer” and your plugin before they even get to a comment form (I also use the “WP htaccess Control” plugin on many sites to inter alia deny comment posting to no referrer requests – i.e bots that try to access comments.php directly), but I’m seeing most blocks from your plugin via the speed test – here’s one site’s stats: http://imm.io/7ZWH

I feel the speed test part of your plugin is very important, since many of the spammers are actual people cutting/pasting, and not just bots.

    Hope that helps.

… and these are my WP-BlackCheck settings: http://imm.io/802q

As far as I can see, the speed limit is the most effective spam killer on your sites. That’s the stats I need for improving things.
    Thank you
