I have WP 3.1 and Tiny MCE Advanced and br tags disappearing

    The paragraph tags are being kept which is halfway towards a fix to the problem but the br tags are still being removed when I publish or update the page. I’m using the 3.3.9 version of the plugin (because I’ve read this is the best one to use for WP 3.1, I’ve tried some of the others as well and none of them kept the br tags).

    Instead of br tags it’s inputting <p>&nbsp;</p>

    Any suggestions for a fix for this?
