• Hi there,

    Our website is donedealatl.com

When a visitor views our site in IE and clicks around, the screen fades out disabling links, forms, etc.

Also, the problem seems to do with Fancybox or another wordpress plugin….I think.

    Please help!

    Thanks in advance!

  • You have javascript errors.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). Don’t forget the ones in mu-plugins. If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    thanks – here’s an update:

I disabled all the plugins – still had problem.

I changed the theme – still had a problem

    Here’s what’s happening:

On the home page, and only the home page (all other pages work normal), anytime you click anywhere – on the page background, on an image, on a link up top, on a link in footer…ANYWHERE – the screen turns black.

If this is happening only on the home page, do you have any idea what it could be?

    Thanks!

    Did you disable ALL plugins?

The problem is caused by a javascript error in the jQuery Form Plugin
on that page and a javascript error in lightbox.
