Importing from Blogger, get an error when trying to launch the script.

i’m sorry if this has been asked before, i searched the forum but didn’t find anything tho, but sorry if this has been posted before and i didn’t see it.

I’m pretty new to all this php/mysql stuff but i found WordPress amazingly easy to install and when i saw it had a blogger import support i was thrilled. But my happiness didn’t last very long because everytime i hit the blogger link (or any other import link) on the import page it gives me this error.

“Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class blogger_import in /var/www/html/blog/wp-admin/import/blogger.php on line 3”

i’m using the latest stable build of wordpress, and i’m running it on a linux server. (i don’t remember what distro of linux tho, my friend owns the server but just gave me SSH access to it and webmin access and so on)

i don’t know about what version of mysql and php also tho, but if i remember correctly my friend said he installed the latest one.

As far as i know, everything else works right in my wordpress blog, at least so far. does anybody know what is wrong?
