• I’ve ran into this problem several times now where someone writes a post and the image is too wide and it goes into the sidebar (for Firefox, in IE the sidebar gets pushed to the bottom of the page). Is there a way for WP to limit the width of an image that gets posted?

    Thanks

    anyone?

    1. Reduce the size of the image first
    2. Use width and height attributes in the image code.

The first is by far the best solution.

Wow. The help in this forum is spectacular. “Use width and height attributes in the image code.” Do you really presume, podz, that every newbie out here asking for help is going to know how to do this? If you’re not going to be more specific, why bother answering? There’s a pervasive elitism among the ‘support’ team that just kills the whole feel of WordPress. UGH.

So, why are you posting to a 6 months old topic? Bored…? Get over to the unanswered topics and give some “better” advice/help/whatever – instead of being the smart[…] here 🙂
