I’m thinking of using plogger for my site galleries, since it seems to come pretty well recommended, I’m just wondering how it works. Do you have to create thumbnails, or does it make them for you? Do you just upload the full size images and plogger does everything else?

  • You’re best off reading the Plogger forums, and the documentation on http://www.plogger.org. But yes, the thumbnails are done for you. It’s absolutely briliant – try it!

Interesting. I knew something awesome would come from these forums. 🙂

Oh, just an update on this one – yes, I’ve discovered I like Plogger very much. I’ve installed it on both of my sites – one of which is hosted on a Linux/Unix server, and the other site is hosted on a Windows server. As with WordPress, Plogger doesn’t seem to like the Windows server very much, but worked like a charm on the site hosted on the Linux server. Very easy to use, one of these days I’ll get around to actually customizing it so that it fits in with my site layout and so on.

I think Plogger’s next version will be really super…. looks like there will be a couple of tableless templates standard with it….
