    Hello,

You can dump the Counterize tables in your database to a .sql script, then import the script into your new blog. It should work without any problem.

I’m sorry, i have no idea what that means. Where are the tables? What is a .sql script and how do I import that to my new blog.

an update, a friend collected everything with “counterize” on it in my tables and put it in an sql file but I’m a little hesitant to take the next step.

Do not hesit 🙂 Inserting existing stats in your new blog will not delete the stats of the old blog.

Hello I’m trying to help mr Mikieshow up there and having some problems. Other than our own incompetence this is a very nice looking piece of code! I’ve looked through the forums but haven’t found a similar situation. And googled with out any luck. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

I exported the counterize tables (as SQL) and imported them into the new database. I can see the data in the database when I look at it with phpMyAdmin. But it doesn’t seem to be connecting properly. I’m also getting the “not admin go away” message. I’m not getting any stats on the dashboard. The old site had a different database, with different username and password, does this even matter? Where does counterize keep its configuration?

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Hi,

First I am very sorry for the delay, I didn’t see your message before today.

Do you see any PHP errors? Counterize is using the same database connection as WordPress, so it should not be a problem.

I advise you to read the FAQ at this address: http://www.gabsoftware.com/products/scripts/counterize/

The configuration of Counterize is saved in the wp_options table, in rows beginning with “counterize_”.
