needed to move event_form.php to the right folder !

    glad you fixed it 🙂

    Hi

I have the same problem, in which folder i have to move…and where is the event_form.php..

    thx

    Flo

funnily enough, for me i don’t need to do anything except use the shortcode, and of course make sure things are enabled in the events ~ settings page at the bottom.

    Hi Marcus.

I will start again. At first i installed a fresh WordPress and the plugin Events-Manager. After install i configure the settings and enable anonymous submissions. After this i create a new Site and put the shortcode [event_form] in this site. When i go to this site i can not see a the submission form….. So what is wrong.?

    Please help…

    Flo

hi, try downloading the plugin again. I noticed I didn’t add the new file into the svn server, but now it’s there. (templates/forms/event-form.php)

    Hi Marcus,

I’m also having an issue getting the event form shortcode to work for anonymous submissions. It looks like I have the form in the folder. I’ve activated the option in setting. Any advice on what I should try next? I’d love to get this working–it looks so promising!

    Thanks

might be that the event-form.php is in the wrong folder. bump this if it still doesn’t work in the next update

I downloaded the update today and the file was in the wrong folder, I’ve moved it and it works fine now.

This form is going to be great, will save me having to set up users 🙂
It will also take out the step of event organisers having to log in.
    Great work!

    Hello,

Can someone tell me please where the event-form.php file is, and where I need to move it to? I have added the shortcode to a page but…no luck.

    Thank you!

    Hi chemcom,

    I found event-form.php in this folder – /wp-content/plugins/events-manager/templates/templates

You will need to move it to templates/forms/event-form.php as Marcus has suggested above.

Thanks muscat, I found the file and moved it.

Strangely though, moving it hasn’t made the form appear. I still have a blank page where it should be. The shortcode is in and anonymous submission is set to yes. Is there anything I could have missed?

    Thanks again!

Are you logged in to your admin area? The form doesn’t display if you are logged in to admin.

Thanks muskat, I logged out of admin to view the site and still no luck, same thing if I log in with a different user.

    I’m having the same issue.

Settings seem to be right, I tried moving the file as suggested above.

This is a new install of both wp and the events plugin.

Have tried logging out, and tried ff and safari, with no success.

A second site, recently upgraded, used to show the form, and now does not.
