Beach 1.0.2 sidebar removal?

    I have Beach 1.0.2 by Gibbo and Automattic installed and running fairly well here: http://nvbcl-dev.com.

    I want to get rid of the archives and meta data at the left sidebar but can’t find how to do this. Can anyone help? I’m sure its simple but I’m fairly new to WP and have looked everywhere in the php files and can’t find it. Thanks for any help.

    Does your theme support widgets?
    If it does, then you should be able to activate and deactivate (by dragging and droping) widgets via the Admin=> Appearance – Widgets
