Payment scheme for editors and contributors

Hello guys,

This is not a technical question, but I didn’t know where to ask. 🙂 So here I go…

I am launching really soon a new blog in spanish which will feature really good quality content for a very demanded mobile phone topic. This will not be the usual copy/paste blog, the content will be well elaborated and that’s my differentiator from other blogs in my language.

Initially, I will be the only one posting, but eventually I will need editors and contributors to help keep the blog updated. However, nobody works for free and even if they love the topic, they will still want some sort of payment for their time. I will launch using Google AdSense as many big blogs do.

So, the question is: what kind of payment scheme should I use with my contributors? Should I pay them for post? per visits? What kind of payment scheme you guys know that work well for editors and contributors?

Finding contributors is easy, keeping them interested in posting a couple of times a day is the issue here. Money is always a good incentive, but I am not really sure of how to handle this part.
