• I made a change to my active Adsense Optimizer without reading the following: Warning: Making changes to active plugins is not recommended. If your changes cause a fatal error, the plugin will be automatically deactivated.

So I tried to re-install it and I got this:

Destination folder already exists. /home/leighlee/public_html/wp-content/plugins/adsenseoptimizer/Plugin install failed.

What do I do to get this plugin re-activated?

  • Can you access your hosting space by FTP ?

If you can (in theory, you should, ask your host if you do not know the login, host and password information), you can simply go to (blog folder)/wp-content/plugins/ and, from there, you can delete the folder of the plugin.
