• Greetings all

With WP 2.0 for the 2006 I must say it is fantastic and want to give a HUGE THANKS for the WordPress Staff and the community.

I’ve always been wondering about this and am not certain which category this falls into:

On the Write Page> where as it creates tab which links to write page (what ever you have to post there).

I like to use the tab to link to certain post other then have to create one.

Sorry I’m not very good at explaining but please view:

    http://www.djhinrg.com/iblog/

    There are 3 tabs> Home>Mixes>Gallery

I like to directly link to their page. For now I only have a link.

I’m sure there is an option for this somewhere I’ve overlooked.

    Thanks You in advance.

  • I’m not too sure exactly what you mean, but I think you may be looking for permalinks.

Permalinks would let you access the pages and posts without the query string (ie: example.com/gallery instead of example.com/?page=gallery). Read the codex article on permalinks or search the forums for “permalinks” if you need more help on that.

If permalinks are not what you are looking for, I think you’ll need to explain it in more detail.

    Cheers,
    Michael

    My apology for late respond.

What I mainly wanted is to create a tab that will link directly to a post instead of recreating a new perm page.

But I think I’ve found the info page:
