Am with you on this one. I have repeatedly tried contacting the programmer with no response. He apparently doesn’t check out the forum, either. He has since updated the plugin several times, but the issue seems to remain the same.
***Not having the option of having form emails come through “from” the person who filled out the form is insane. It means copying and pasting to reply.
Or we all missing something?
I have been over and over the plugin and the forums and have tried hacking the php, but nothing works.
Such a weird oversight on an otherwise cool plugin. I am looking for alternatives now. Too bad he’s incomunicado.

One of my clients who use this plugin get nearly 1,000 emails a day and it’s becoming a real pain them having to copy and paste the reply e-mails address.

I’m also waiting for a solution.. I wrote a bitt over this plugin to promoot it but now I feel disappointed.
Is there a way to to do it with a nonther plugin?

lol – same here! Great plugin apart from this glaring omission. I’ve also contacted the author – but no response 🙁

I’d suggest forgetting this guy. He’s not at all responsive, and this glitch is a absurd deal-breaker.
After checking out all the plugins, I switched to Wufoo forms. wufoo.com
It’s much easier to use than CCF, and has even more capabilities.
You get three free forms, great online user guides, it’ll keep a database of contacts, and it integrate with MailChimp and a bunch of other apps as well…
