• I’m running into a major issue when trying to add new pages on my WordPress site. I use my WordPress site for marketing and only use static pages, not posts. I currently have the following plug-ins installed, SEO Pack, Site Map, and Bookmarks.

Everything was running fine with no issues until I created more than 800+ static pages. The site runs fine without any issues. All the other functions of the site are working correctly, but when I try to create a new page, it takes forever and the server times out giving me a 500 error.

I have the same plug-ins installed on multiple other sites/domains and all on the same server. All sites are using the same hosting company’s MYSQL database servers (all have in different databases) under the same hosting plan. No issues with any of the other sites, but the other sites have less than 400 static pages pages.

Have I hit my WordPress page limit? Is there a way to correct this? I would hate to believe that I spent all this time building this domain name up and now I’m limited to the amount of pages I can add.

Can someone give me some advise?

I have tried deactivating all the plug-ins and upgrading to the newest versions of WordPress and plug-ins.

I’m in serious need of help and would appreciate any answers or suggestions.

500 error may indicate a problem with the configuration on the server. Usually your hosting company tech support can help. It could be a problem with your .htaccess file.

did you find an answer for this. i am having the same problem
