Interestingly, I get the reverse…
Yes! So I just switched the settings in the dashboard, and whatever is specified there, works…
Any ideas on how to fix the one that doesn’t work?
First, decide which url you will be using in Settings -> General…
Okay. I’ve chosen the www
Then what?
Ah! Now when I login, it does not take me to the dashboard. It circles me back to the login.
Help?!
I fixed the login bit.
But how do I fix that error? Or redirect to the non-www so that people don’t see it?
Thanks!
Could be a theme or plugin issue. Try:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
If you’re still having problems using Twenty Ten & no plugins, then it’s more likely to be a hack – in which case, you need to start reading through these resources:
