Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Yeah, I disabled all the plugins and still get the problem. The twenty ten theme… are you saying switching to an older version of the theme I’m running?
You’re not running the Twenty Ten theme.
I am running Antisnews. I did switch over to Twenty Ten and when I tried to upload a picture it failed as well. What could this mean? Thank you again for the help.
Did you try resetting the plugins folder?
Yes, I first disabled all plugins and when that didn’t work, I went ahead and deleted my plugin folder in my FTP account and added a new one from wordpress. The pictures still won’t load :0(
Try resetting the plugins folder as outlined in the link I gave above. Also check your uploads path in Settings -> Media.
Okay I reset the plugin folder just like you stated and nothing has changed. As far as my uploads path in settings -> media… what should i be checking or looking for?
Thanks Esmi
Are you sure that the images you are uploading are suitable for web use? Have you reviewed http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164999 ?
Yes, the images load on my other blogs with no problem. I find the picture in the browser or flash uploaded and then instead of displaying the picture it just shows a box with edit picture. Then if I upload it to the post, it just shows a black square with a broken piece of paper in the corner.
I made right clicked the failed images to see where they were save and then copied that link and pasted that in my stored image setting in media. It seems to work now. Thanks so much.
Now… any idea why the page only loads 60% of the time?
Thanks again.
