• Hi,

    1)
I read about how important it is to have / create a good Resource Box.

How to create a resource box after created a post of good contant a.s.o.

Where to create it, cannot find any place / box to create it into.

    and

    2)
How to extend and show all the html buttons – features? Now only a few are visible (after b=Bold). How get them all to show up?

    Sincerely,

    Hans Brautigam

I don’t know what you mean by ‘resource box’ but there’s an icon on the HTML editor at the end of the top row. Hover over it and it says ‘Show/Hide the Kitchen sink.’ Click that and you get more.

    Hello Ipstenu,

    Thanks for the answer.
    About question:

#1) Resource box is to be created in Articles after adding content a.s.o. not in WordPress, I think.

#2) My ´post´ still doesn´t show the HTML icons (editor) as I wanted.
Show/Hide the Kitchen sink-icon is shown on the Visual option NOT
on the HTML option, not highlighted at all. Ok, It perhabs only works
for the visual view to make the changes there and then just change over to the HTML view ?
But I still miss the icon/feature to create anchortext links and hyperlinks.
Are there any instructions in the WP Lessons to learn about it?
    OR
    you´ll tell me.

    a.s.o = a standard option (I think…)

And your explanation doesn’t help me a bit 🙂 What content are you wanting to put in there, and is this something you should do in a theme?

Show/Hide the Kitchen sink-icon is shown on the Visual option NOT on the HTML option, not highlighted at all

Oh. Well yeah, that’s how it works. Visual Editor has more options. HTML editor assumes you’re a DIY person.

But I still miss the icon/feature to create anchortext links and hyperlinks.

You’re clearly not looking. HTML editor has, by default:
    bold, italic, link, b-quote, del....

Those are, in that order, the first options. Link makes links.

If you want a standard option to add extra content for each article, I think you need to add post meta box for that job. With some php experience, you can code it. Google search “Post Options”, you will get a well done script created by hybrid theme users. (sorry I didn’t bookmark that link). With this script, you will have extra input options for posts, but you need to code the output by yourself.
Another way is to use Custom Field Template Plugin. With this plugin, you don’t need to deal with codes, and it provide shortcodes for output.
