Kafkaesqui: i tried the get posts but it doesn’t show up when its the main blog page. it does show up in the archives though. the weird thing is that the place where i put the code is not even within an if.elsif.endif category/archive loop. it was between the pages and category section of the sidebar (using a design based on kubrik). so i used TonySt’s answer which worked on both the home and category/archive pages.
