[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Paragraphs appearing and disappearing in Gallery

I have created a Gallery with 13 images and the max number of images shown at a time to 12 to create a secondary page.
When I look at the Gallery the first time, There are empty paragraphs inserted before and between each row of thumbnails. When I go to the second page of the Gallery, the paragraphs disappear. When I go to the first page again, the paragraphs are no longer there either. When I reload the Gallery page again, the paragraphs return.
Pulling my hair out over this one.
