I am looking for a widget / plugin

I am looking for a plugin or a widget that can filter search results through multiple categories.
I am going to use it on a Real Estate web site, so the searches must be by type of property, by price, by location and so on.

I figure every category will be a separate option in the different drop down menus of the search plugin or something…

I already tried the “Multiple Category Selection Widget” by Isaac Rowntree but it sucks and can not do what I want.
Or at least I cannot make it do what I want. *shrugs*
