  • I want to create a drop down menu from a link in the content area of my homepage.

Basically, what I want to do is have “Select Your State” in highlighted text in the content area of my home page. When you hover over it, I want a menu to come up showing all the states you can choose from. Then you click on the state. Something similar to this site (http://www.learninsurance.com)

All of the plugins I find are to create drop down menus in the navigation bars across the site. I have spent the past 3 days looking for a feature like this and have scoured the forums for someone that has been helped previously on a situation similar to mine. If this has been solved previously, sorry (i’m a total noob)!

Is what I am looking for possible through a wordpress plugin? If so, can someone direct me to that plugin’s site? Or maybe explain to me how I can do this if there isn’t a plugin out there capable of what I’m looking for?

    Thanks!
    Steph

  • Me too! I’ve done the same thing!

My client’s original site is WordPress and has an in-content menu: http://ewingsir.com/agents1/ I have copied the code … doesn’t work. Its not a plugin either. The only thing I can think of is its an iframe but I see no code to indicate it.

If I find anything I will let you know.
