user photo conflicting across multiple subdomains

    My client has multiple blogs and a user profile across all blogs. She has uploaded a photo and thumbnail to her profile on one site, then the same photo on another and the photo on the first disappeared. She re-uploaded the photo on the 1st, and the 2nd disappeared! What is going on?
