    Hello,

For several months now, feedburner has not been picking up my feeds. After trying unsuccessfully to fix the issue, I finally deleted my old feed and set up (reclaimed ?) a new one. Pinged it and validated it successfully too. But still no current feed or email updates. The same old content has been showing on my feed for months. Absolutely nothing new since the beginning of March.

So the issue is not that feedburner isn’t sending anything out to anyone, but that it can’t find anything to send out!

About the same time as my feeds stopped showing up, I had installed Yoast’s WP SEO (great free plugin btw), and I seem to remember filling out something about my feed when setting it up several months ago. I’ve gone through that setup 3 times already, and I’ll be darned if I can find anything other than a bit about adding a couple of links to my feeds to discourage scrapers.

I’ve been researching quite a bit about feedburner and why it might not work and I believe that I’ve narrowed the issues with my feed down to one or both of the following: an .htaccess issue or a permalinks issue. The problem is, I’m still pretty new at all this, and am not quite sure where to go to check on either of these or to perform some kind of fix within them.

Unfortunately, Google has no means (that I can find) to actually ask a Google/feedburner expert for assistance. I find the forums to be messy, with post questions that are so poorly worded that I’m not sure I’m reading about the same issue as mine. Further, some posts are completely unanswered, while others are answered with explanations that are beyond my current ability to understand them.

One more note – in my search to find anything that will assist me in fixing my feed, I’ve found something within Google help that tells me I should install Feedsmith. Well my feed worked perfectly before without this plugin, but I have now installed it anyway. But still no current feed.

Here’s something interesting though – my comment feed is up to date!

Any help with this would truly be appreciated – I’d really like to get my feed working.

    Thanks much,

    Diana
