WordPress for polyglots

I plan to publish posts in diferent languages, some of them in Italian, others in French, or Spanish or English. What about somekind of mechanism that would make easier for the readers to recognize which of them are in a determinated language or not (a little flag or something…)? What about a linguistic criteria in the search engine?
