• The new URL link pop up in WP2.0 doesn’t resize correctly in Firefox 1.07 or 1.5, so it’s a bit of a hit and miss affair to put the URL’s into it in case you typo half way through.

Obviously you can switch to HTML mode and just edit it, but this does kind of negate the pop up, but can help as a work around.

  • Mine looks fine using FF1.5
Checked all through the browser options ?

(I’m also guessing it’s a browser option problem because I don’t recall a similar post)

Actually – I’m having the same problem too. If anyone has found a workaround or what setting in FF may be causing this, it would be appreciated.

I’m currently using WP 2.0.2 and Firefox 1.5

I had this problem as well (believe it’s a problem specifically with Firefox) and found an article on how to fix it, but lost the link and am in the same boat again.

I vaguely remember that if you go to Options > Content > Javacript > Advanced and make sure there isn’t a check mark next to “Resize windows” that should solve it.

If that doesn’t work, you can do a hack that allows you to manually resize the window (always) if it’s too small. Type “about:config” (without quotes) in the address bar and type “dom.disable_window_open_feature.resizable”, double click on it so it switches to true.

Hope that helps someone out 🙂

Found the link again – and this one actually works 🙂
