Moving related plugin meta box to sidebar in admin BUG

    if i position the related meta box in the sidebar of the WP admin post add/edit page then an issue occurs on the add post page. if i go to create a new post then the title and permalink are already completed and the values are equal to last item in the related dropdown. is there a fix for this? seems an obvious bug but i cant believe i havent noticed it before.
    any ideas??

    Just encountered this issue as well with a custom meta box. I’m guessing it’s an issue with a loop within a loop… the sidebar is parsing before the main edit post loop or something to that effect. Gotta wait til I have more free time to look into it more, insight from someone more informed would be greatly appreciated!
