    Error: You cannot install a network of sites with your server address.
    you cannot use port numbers such as :50743

    Can some one help me fix this error please.

    You need to run on the standard port 80 for your web server. Then everything will work.

    And if you want to run it on an alternate port…. don’t have the port number in the URL. Fake a domain in your hosts file, so instead of localhost:50743 you have localhost.dummy . Or whatever.

    (Mine is amd64.loc, just because.)
