I recently changed one of my blogs to the weaver theme. The installation and customization were easy. I tweaked with a custom header and changed background colors, menu bar color, etc.

Then, I installed weaver theme to another WP based site of mine. These are separate WP installations but hosted in same account. Same computer used for both installations but done about 3 or 4 days apart.

This installation will not accept any changes, nor a customized header, nor the second side-bar which I have on the good installation. I have re-installed the theme and consulted with the theme developer and my hosting company.

No one has any idea what has happened. No changes have been made to the computer’s settings, etc. We copied the theme file from the successful installation to this site, but still have the same issues.

For now, I’ve reverted to my prior theme and it continues to work fine.

What could be an appropriate solution to the issue?

    Many thanks,

    Tom

    Tom,

The “copy” operation may have brought old URL’s with it.
We will need some more specifics around “will not accept any changes” in your description above. If you are getting errors, share them.
If the updates don’t give errors but they simply do not appear on the site, that would lend credence to my theory that the new site is referencing the old site.

Try to make sure there are no old URL’s in use via this plugin and then report back:
