I am having an issue with some of my menu items.

I have custom post types which have custom permalinks set up for them. They work just fine if you view them from the edit page.

However, in the menu, the link it really screwy.

For example, if I’m on a page http://www.mysite.com/page, and I want to go to my page on http://www.mysite.com/post, the link in the menu will look like:
    http://www.mysite.com/page/www.mysite.compost

    Any ideas?

I think this just started with 3.1.1 because it was working before, but I can’t confirm because I’ve made changes to the code as well.

    Nevermind, I figured it out.

I had a bit in the rewrite to remove the parent from the permalink. However, if the parent was empty, it caused just “/” to get removed, which removed the // from http://.

I guess things assume a link it relative if it’s missing http://

how did you remove the parent? I’m looking for that. 🙂
