Check your RSS links and delete the word “feed:” in front of them:
feed:http://www.performbettergolf.com/blog/?feed=rss2
Make it
http://www.performbettergolf.com/blog/?feed=rss2
they are there!
Where do I find the RSS links?
Presentation > theme editor
Look on the right, you’ll see footer.php, click it
In the text box will appear a pile of code.
Look through it and you see two lines that start:
<a href="feed:http://www.performbettergolf.com
delete feed: to make
<a href="http://www.performbettergolf.com
then save the files and all will be good 🙂
In your theme folder (wp-content/themes/perform-better-golf/) there is a file called footer.php
.
Find it and delete the word “feed:” as I wrote above.
I’m having the same problem above with an additional blog that I’m trying to set up on the same domain. I have installed and deleated it many times and it stiill isn’t working. When I go to add the feed into a reader it isn’t being ‘auto-recoginzed’.

Help…
If you have the “same” problem – apply the same fix.
If you have another issue, start your own topic.
Moshu – sorry, should have said I’ve tried the same ‘fix’ after spending the time to go back through the archives I found this post.
I did take out the “feed:” and it still isn’t working.
I did take out the “feed:” and it still isn’t working.
No, you didn’t. At least not in the theme and on the site you linked above.
Ok, I’m lost – which file do I need to edit? I didn’t notice “feed:” in either the rss.php or rss2.php.
Also, is this a bug in WP, I ask b/c I tried to install it several times through the Fantistico which is provided through my host provider.
1. No, it is in your sidebar.php file (in the theme directory). Your links for RSS feeds are located in the sidebar, aren’t they?
2. What bug? RSS feeds have nothing to do with your install issues…
If you have problems with installation don’t post in a topic about RSS feeds. Start your own topic about your specific issue.
