Is there a way to cloak email address in wordpress | WordPress.org

I have a wordpress site and a joomla site. Joomla has this feature that automatically cloaks any email address you include in content. You can type the entire email address with the @ symbol and the whole thing, and you ‘never’ get any spam. I don’t know how it is done but it’s a wonderful feature.

I am hoping there is a way to do this with wordpress. Does anyone know?

I use the Obfuscate E-mail plug-in. Hasn’t been updated in a while, but continues to work perfectly in 3.1.1 in posts & pages. Only catch is that you must make sure emails are typed all in lowercase.
