Default avatars disappeared

    The default avatars that used to be on the list in the Settings> Discussion section are gone. Boxes with red Xs have taken their place. I checked the button that says, “Show Avatars” but still nothing.

    I can’t recall what, if anything, I changed recently. Any suggestions on what to check?

    Can you see any of the WordPress News feeds in your Dashboard?

    I found the problem. It was a file permission issue. Made the change, and it’s all good.
