Hey themesters, after I removed the header image call from header.php, the wrapper’s left margin on my index page (edited to remove posts and sidebar) and my archives page (no edits) is slightly more than the wrapper’s left margin on single posts and static pages.

Any thoughts why removing the header image would cause the wrapper margins to vary from page to page? I’ve also found that changing the header image’s size to anything less than 200px produces the same effect.

The wrapper isn’t shifting. It’s an illusion caused by the scroll bar appearing. You can make sure of this by zooming your page out until you can not see the scroll bar and try to compare.

    Hope that helps! 🙂

Indubitably!! Thank you, M.Y. I was going batty trying to figure out why height would affect the horizontal layout. Good day and best wishes to you!
