    I just updated to the new version of eVolve and all I did was added an image to the header. I took the image off and it still stayed like this. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • And what is it supposed to look like? In IE8 I don’t see any diaster.

    You don’t see a 2 inch wide empty space on the right hand side of the page? I have the new Firefox and I tried it on IE, but my IE might not be the newest version.

    Yes it shifted to left you need check your theme options as there must be something you changed there.

    I just updated this theme and the only thing I did was add a header image. As soon as I added it, it got to where it is now. After I took it back off, it stayed the same.

    If you have not made any other change on theme then I suggest you activate twenty ten theme and delete the theme you using and reinstall theme and activate.

    Hmm, alright, I’ll try that.

    That didn’t work, either.

    Well, I just changed it to the option where the blog takes up the entire browser. I’ll just use that for now.

    brent7, I just updated to the new version of evolve and suddenly my page is aligned to the left as well! I didn’t change anything else, so it must be the update. I have a big block of white space on the right. I tried the option where the blog fills the browser window, but I don’t like how it looks.

    Does anyone know where I can tell it to align the page center, with the same fixed width?

    Yeah, I had a feeling it was the update. I just switched themes. It’s too bad because I liked evolve. Maybe they will fix it.

    Here’s the website. It doesn’t look bad, but I don’t like the change and neither does the person I made it for. Don’t want to switch the theme at this point, either.

    Do you think there is something I can change in the style sheets to fix it? I’m pretty new to WP, but I did do a simple child theme for another site in the twentyten theme here. Any help would be appreciated. πŸ™‚

    In this file css file http://ijalliance.org/wp-content/themes/evolve/library/media/layouts/2col-r.css

    look for this code line 10

    #wrapper {
    width:990px;

    add

    margin:auto;

    THANK YOU, govpatel!! It worked, now the page is centered with even space on either side. I was wondering if it had something to do with this “wrapper” based on my limited experience with the other site, but didn’t know where to look for the file to change. I am learning!

    Use a firebug addon on a firefox browser and will tell you what file the code is in, in twenty ten theme is style.css but some of this custom themes put them in folder like the one you have .
