Looking for a customizable feed reader (xml, feedburner)

    I hate to go out and ask this but I am getting frustrated and running out of patience. I have installed and uninstalled 6 plug-ins all to fail miserably.

    What do I need? A Feed reader that can be customized.

    What kind of feed? An XML or a feedburner reader plug-in. NOT an RSS reader plug-in that I am finding is not versatile enough for other feed formats.

    What kind of Formatting? Simple CSS coding, bold the headlines, make the content of the feed font a little smaller, style it so it fits my website.

    The generic RSS feed reader installed in wordpress 3.1 works. But it can’t be customized (or at least I do not think it can be) and it looks terrible and takes up way to much space.

    I have attempted, super RSS feed, superRSS, XML read… none of them are working… anyone have one?

    Should I just go with Simple Pie and be done with it?
