[Plugin: Total Widget Control] Error with Total Control Widgets Plugin

    I installed this plug-in, then went to the settings. I clicked on the ‘free’ version, then nothing. Literally. I couldn’t access my WordPress dashboard at all. I just got a blank white screen.

    I went to my FTP and tried to manually delete the plug-in, but couldn’t. I finally renamed the subdirectory, which caused WordPress to automatically disable the plug-in. I could then log in to my account again – where I promptly deleted the plug in, which worked this time.

    It looks like a promising, useful plug-in, but I’m not going to try it again anytime soon. I don’t want that utter moment of panic again when I realized I couldn’t access my dashboard.

    Sorry that you had a panic attack. I have been unsuccessful at reproducing this error which is driving me nuts. Been working on it for days now. I’ll stay up tonight and make sure that i get it taken care of.

    last night I updated to 1.6.4 and recovered functionality for the plug-in, but this morning updated to 1.6.5 and again I have only the option to buy and no access to the plug-in’s widget controls, can you please go back to 1.6.4 or direct me to where I can download and replace the current version (1.6.5) that does not work [I was using the “enterprise” paid version of the plug-in]
