Add Local Avatar redirecting to 404 error

    Ever since we updated to 3.1 Add Local Avatar plugin will not let us update a user’s avatar. When I proceed to click Update link it redirects me to a 404 page not found error. The twitter field works but when I paste an absolute path URL to the local image I get 404 error. Any clues on what I need to do? I am on latest version 10 of the plugin.
