[Plugin: Content Types] frontend warning message

    I have fresh wordpress install with the plugin ‘content types’ installed but on the frontent I am getting this error:

    Warning: is_writable() [function.is-writable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/nfs:/tmp:/usr/local:/etc/apache2/gs-bin) in /nfs/c07/h02/mnt/99974/domains/website.com/html/core/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 133

    any ideas why this would happen? the only other thing I can think of is that my custom wordpress directory (/core) may be causing the issue?
