Counterize Plugin Issues (Anybody Else Seeing This)

    I’ve used the Counterize plugin (http://andersdrengen.dk/projects/counterize/) with my WP 1.5.2 for many months now. Since I upgraded to WP 2.0, this thing is counting like crazy, appears to be adding referrals to every file loaded with a page at random. Visited the authors web site, but really couldn’t find any help there, just wondering if anybody else that may be using this plugin is seeing the same thing. I guess I may have to switch to another plugin, can anybody recommend a really good “hit counter” plugin for WP2.0 that shares some of the functionality of Counterize? Any help is appreciated.

    just scroll down on the sidebar. No matter how many hits it says I’ve gotten, I’ve only gotten about a 1/3 of that.

    I’m the author – and I’ve just updated the plugin and my platform to WP2.0, but I can’t re-produce what you’re saying above. Is this still a problem? If so, please post at my site to make sure that others with the same problem also get this history….
