Abuse Violation Using Excessive Resources

    My site was suspended for the following reasons

    4723 antiquec 20 0 169m 50m 7796 S 18.6 0.6 0:00.57 /usr/bin/php /home/antiquec/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-spamfree/js/wpsf-js.php

    Can someone tell me what this means and how I can correct it

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    plugins/wp-spamfree – that would be where I would start.

    I deactivated all plugins and the load went down. When I activated wp-spam free the load went up but even with wp-spam free deactivated the load continues to go up and down

    Changing themes didn’t do anything

    Could something else be wrong

    Well, you get that load always goes up and down, right? I mean, it depends how much traffic you get 🙂 What kind of server are you on? Shared, VPS, etc? And what sort of affix are you getting?

    The load comes down but it also continues to spike excessively
    The load is still excessively high

    The load will be at 2 and then spike to 44

    My hosting company has it turned off so that only I can get to it

    Is there anything else that can be done

    I am getting an extra line in my server stats from time to time

    disk/home/antiquec (home/antiquec) 93%

    Does that mean anything

    I found out the real reason the server could not
    handle the traffic the site was getting
