[Plugin: Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] qtranslate. How can it work with Subscibe to comme

Hi all,
I am trying to make both your excellent plugins -Subscribe To Comments Reloaded v1.6 AND qtranslate v2.5.18- work hand in hand in a multisite environment using wordpress 3.1 but haven’t managed so far. They are both network activated.
I have unsuccessfully tried different combinations like:

1. You can <a href='[manager_link]'>[:en] manage the subscriptions</a> of this entry. <a href='[manager_link]'>[:el] Διαχείρηση</a> ειδοποιήσεων.
2. [:en] You can <a href='[manager_link]'>manage the subscriptions</a> of this entry. [:el] <a href='[manager_link]'>Διαχείρηση</a> ειδοποιήσεων.
3. [:en]You can <a href='[manager_link]'> manage the subscriptions</a> of this entry. [:el]<a href='[manager_link]'> Διαχείρηση</a> ειδοποιήσεων.
4. [:en] You can <a href='[manager_link]'>manage the subscriptions</a> of this entry. [:EL] <a href='[manager_link]'>Διαχείρηση</a> ειδοποιήσεων.
and so on

I thought that number 2 would be the right coding but no luck. Still, what I get is:

[:en] You can manage the subscriptions of this entry. [:el] Διαχείρηση ειδοποιήσεων.

I now use

You can <a href='[manager_link]'>manage the subscriptions</a> of this entry. /<a href='[manager_link]'> Διαχείρηση</a> ειδοποιήσεων.

which defies the purpose of the plugins.
The truth is that I have NOT used the “Proper Network Activation” plugin but did my bit with “network update” in the super-admin panel.
Can someone point me to the right direction?
