• Hi,

with WP 3.1 and your plugin 0.6 I get the following error upon activating:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/$USER/websites/$SITE/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo-rank/wp-seo-rank.php on line 703

Have you encountered this error, too? Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ben

  • Hi Ben, I have WP 3.1 and it works well. Someone else has the same
problem?, you can try disabling all your plugins and activate this, I think
may be problems of incompatibility with other plugins. Good Luck.

    Greetings

    Hi,

I tried with deactivating the following plugins:
    IE6 Upgrade Option
    Page Links To

    Then I updated and deactivated:
    WP Survey And Quiz Tool

No luck. I have these other plugins:

    AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget
    Akismet
    CodeColorer
    CodeColorer TinyMCE Button
    Google Analytics for WordPress
    Google XML Sitemaps
    Lightbox 2
    Link Indication
    Picasa Express x2
    Redirection
    Secure WordPress
    SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam
    TinyMCE Advanced
    W3 Total Cache
    WordPress.com Stats
    Wordpress.com Stats: Top Posts Widget
    WordPress Mobile Edition
    Yet Another Related Posts Plugin

Also, I use a https-secured dashboard and auto-install for plugins. Maybe one of these plugins or it is incompatible with https. Do you use hardcoded http-links? Had this issue before.

    Thanks for answering so soon.

    maybe urlencode (PHP)?

the problem is the your instalation.

    Good Luck.

    Hi,

I deactiveted all plugins and the error still occurs. So I guess this is not an issue of my plugins.

I’ll investigate it further, perhaps I’ll try to outsource the html you included or so… I’ll keep you up to date. Until then, I mark it as broken.
