Home Page Not Linked To Other pages

I am using a static home and I am getting the message that my home page does not have an internal link to my other pages.
I am using /%post_id%/%postname%/ for the permalinks
this page is showing Permalink:http://mydomain.com and my other pages are showing Permalink: http://mydomain.com/page-title
So can someone tell me why this page does not have the page title in the permalink and why it is stating that it does not have an internal link to the other pages and how I correct it
