forget it, I just hacked the plugin itself.

In the new version, 1.2.5, you can configure the search form to not show “search on pages”.

“Search across all blogs” and “All” only show if the user is logged.

    Thanks!

Ah, thanks for the reply. I wish I had checked this sooner.
I recently asked a similar question on the forums and on the plugin’s site.

Where do I turn off this ‘search pages’ option? In the widget I see ‘searching by default on pages’ as an option but I don’t see any other settings anywhere.

Also, is there a way to disable ‘search across all blogs’ even if a user is logged in?

I would ideally like the plugin to search all posts, or pages, including a custom post type called ‘documents’.

    Thanks!

New version has a choice to “disable search options” and the default search will be in pages and all blogs.
