Cannot Log Out

I am unable to log out of my wordpress dashboard. Everytime I try, I receive this message:

I’ve never had this problem before. I’m running version 3.1. Also, on my sidebar, under MetaData, where I usually log in, it gives me the option of “Log In” as though I’m not logged in. I know that when I was logged in in the past, it would say “Site Admin.”

So it acts as though I’m not logged in, but when I do, I cannot log out. Any help or suggestions?
