• I was just wondering if there are any hacks that automaticaly create a thumbnail after you upload a picture using the upload file/image dialogue from the admin pannel?

sorry about the title, I don’t know what I was thinking…

The upload features does create a thumbnail when you upload if you select it. Just select the size and when the file is uploaded add a thumb- prefix to the filename

    ????
when I go to uplad image/file it just uploads and spits out the image code but no thumbnail or anything to select….
sorry, I really dont get what you are talking about.

It’s a hack for the upload page to include the code for the thumbnail when you upload a photo. WP creates a thumbnail for every image you upload, it just doesn’t tell you it made one (by default).
