We applied the security fixes to this update as well.
For obvious reasons, I’m not going to list them out, but they’re applied to 2.0.4.1.
Totally agree: awesome plugin!
My question is:
We’re preparing a new web for a client and we are willing to pay for the CMS version but we wonder if our current demo site, almost ready to be launched, (running WP 3.0.5 + WPML 2.0.4.1) will suffer any drastic changes.
In other words, can we keep on working on the demo and upgrade to WP 3.1 and WPML 2.1 right before the launching? or will these upgrades required later changes of the web content and/or structure from our side?
Kind regards,
Jose
I’d like to support Jose’s question as I am in a similar situation, & suggest that WPML find a way to allow total development under the latest commercial version with payment due on launch/publishing. It is essential to get all the potential hitches out of the way in a tight development schedule, as well as ensuring return for WPML’s development. Some kind of remote key associated with the host domain? Maybe related to SEO capacity?
Does anyone knows any decent alternatives to WPML?
There is no one listed at

Upgrade from WPML 2.0.4.1 to the current versions should be smooth.
However, you should remember that you’re also going to upgrade WordPress itself from 3.0.x to 3.1.x (or higher). WordPress had changed some API and other changes may be required.
This is the reason for WPML 2.0.4.1 not working properly on WP 3.1.x and above.
Ok. WordPress had changed some API.
So give us a tool that will export our multilingual content from WPML plugin to qTranslate.
I’m realy dissapointed on your behavior.

Are you serious? So we no longer have to pay? Are you the most intelligent?
WPML is gone. dont waste your time with them.
Has anyone looked into migration to qTranslate or is there a WPML fork already?
They removed the free version (that they promised to keep around). Weak.
Hello!!
How we can find the difference between paid and free plugin in WordPress code? Is there any sample code which easily differentiate between paid and free WordPress plugin.
Thanks in Advance.
