Clear instructions for Multi-Site with Multi-Domain setup

    Hi all,
    I’m having tough time setting up WordPress Multi site with separate domain for each. I have read all the instructions available and none of them were helpful as the changes seems to be drastic with WordPress 3.1

    It would be very helpful if someone can write the instructions for WordPress Multi site for 3.1 or is there any already(I couldn’t find any) ??

    I have WordPress 3.1 installed and Multi site enabled in
    site1.com
    I have “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” Plugin enabled.

    I’m trying to map
    site1.com/newsite to site2.com

    Under the “Settings” > “Domain” page. I couldn’t add “New Domain”.
    What should be Site ID ?
    I tried to add but it never gets added or never shows any error. I checked error log file and nothing there.
    I’m completely lost!

    The directions for 3.0 are actually still very accurate, provided you remember that ‘Super Admin’ is now over in the ‘Network Admin’ section.

    What should be Site ID ?

    The ID of the site you want to map.

    Here’s an easier way. GO to the SUB SITE.

    Look under tools -> Domain Mapping. Fill that in.
